Cogeneration plant, simultaneously producing electrical and thermal energy by biomass. The energy produced is used by the Caviro Group companies. Caviro is the largest Italian wine cooperative operating in winemaking and wine and agri-food by-products processing.
The Enomondo District Heating Network is going to serve, in addition to the Caviro Group production plant, additional civil and industrial users. Main uses will include space heating and cooling, manufacturing processes and supply of domestic hot water. This network, which distributes 60,000 MWht / year, has been created through Whitenergy’s Blue Easy Bio service.
