Green Air intervention in the industrial sector
Chemical plant in northern Italy, active in the production of "chemicals" used in the aluminum industry. Although the compressors used are not obsolete, the network has never been maintained and is highly inefficient, also in consideration of the fact that one works in a continuous 24-hour cycle throughout the year.

Green Steam intervention in the industrial sector
Dairy plant in Central Italy, active in the production of dairy products and derivatives. Steam is produced by two methane generators. The network has never been maintained and is highly inefficient, considering that we work continuously 24 hours a day throughout the year.

Situation prior to intervention
There are about 80 condensate drains, which have never been verified. The annual energy expenditure for steam production is € 500k.

GREEN DRIVE intervention in the services sector
Telecommunications and Internet company in central Italy, equipped with a data processing centre and a large server farm, with a high demand for cooling energy. The cold-water distribution system is implemented through poorly efficient pumping systems which fall below current standards. The system works in a continuous cycle throughout the year.

Situation before intervention

GREEN DRIVE intervention in the industrial sector
Chemical plant in northern Italy, operating in the production of “chemicals” used in the aluminium industry. The pump fleet is obsolete and inefficient, given that it operates in a continuous cycle throughout the year.

Situation prior to intervention
There were 6 pumps operating at set points with throttling and recirculation valves. The annual energy expenditure for pump operation was €130,000 per year.

GREEN CHP intervention with a new system
The client is an agricultural cooperative that processes vegetables and fresh fruit, over three shifts a day for five days a week. The electricity demand is higher during work shifts but is also present at weekends as the system requires cooling energy. Steam is also used, both in the production process and to clean the plant.

GREEN CHP intervention with revamping of existing plant
Paper mill owner of a 6 MW cogeneration plant comprising a gas turbine and a HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator). The client constantly requires electricity and steam: a minimum of 8,000 h per year in a continuous cycle. The plant, which has been in operation for almost 20 years, shows inefficiencies compared with current average market level.
